Purpose

To glorify God and enjoy playing basketball together as well as providing an opportunity to reach out to non-Christ followers through the game of basketball.

Team and Player Eligibility Requirements

Each team captain must be a demonstrated church-attending Christ follower. Two-thirds of a team’s players must be church-attending Christ followers. The remaining roster spots may be used for outreach to non-Christ followers.

• The entry fee is $200 per team. This fee is due in-full before the start of your team’s first game.
• Each team’s roster may include up to 12 players and must be turned in to CRAVEsports staff prior to starting your first game. The roster then cannot be changed in any way except with the approval of the CRAVEsports staff under extreme circumstances.
• Each player will be required to read and sign a liability waiver prior to being allowed to participate in the tournament.
• Players must be 18 years of age with one exception. Those under the age of 18 may participate if his or her parent is an active participant on the same team as well.
• This is a tournament for amateur players. Players must not have ever played NCAA Division I or professional basketball.
• Each team’s players must wear matching, numbered jerseys with no duplicates. This will be enforced.
